We use AI because it makes that kind of magic affordable, not because we’re cutting corners. Every story is shaped by a qualified early-years teacher, and a real person reads every single page before it’s ever sent to print.
Yes. One child is the star of the story, and the second appears alongside them as a supporting character — their name, their likeness, their part in it. There’s no extra charge.
Completely. It is stored privately, never publicly, and used only to bring their character to life. We permanently delete it 30 days after your book is dispatched, and it is never used for anything else.
Totally fine. On the character screen you can choose “Use a description” instead of a photo. Tell us their hair, skin tone, glasses, freckles, anything distinctive, and we’ll draw them from that. You’ll see the finished character before you pay, and can go back and tweak the description if it’s not quite right.
Yes — put their address in at checkout and we’ll post it directly. There’s no invoice or pricing anywhere in the parcel.
Not at the moment — we print and post from the UK, to UK addresses only. If you’re buying for someone abroad, send it to a UK address and take it with you.
Then a gift card is the better buy. The parent answers those questions themselves and picks the story, and you still gave the book. It arrives by email in seconds, never needs posting, and is valid for 12 months.
