How is this different from other "personalised" books?
Most are pre-written templates with your child's name or face dropped in. We write the whole story — and illustrate every page — from scratch, around your child and what you'd like them to learn.
Will the character actually look like my child?
Upload a photo at checkout and we capture their likeness — hair, skin tone, all of it — in our illustration style. Rather not share a photo? Just describe them.
Do I get a say before it's made?
Yes. Within 24 hours we email you three original story concepts — reply with your favourite and we craft that one.
How long does it take?
Concepts within 24 hours. Once you’ve chosen, your finished book is usually printed and posted within three working days.
Is my child's photo safe?
Completely. We use your photos only to create the book, and we delete every image the moment it ships — we don’t keep any of them, ever.
What if I'm not happy?
You'll read the finished book — every page — before we print anything. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll change it. Changed your mind completely? Cancel for a full refund any time before you approve, because nothing has been printed yet.
Once you approve, it goes to print as a one-off book with your child in it, so from that point we put things right with a revision or a reprint rather than a refund.
What happens to my child’s photo?
We use it only to draw your child as a character, and we delete it when your book is dispatched. It is never used for anything else.
